Now the owner and founder of Blake's Exotic Animal Ranch, Blake turned his passion into a business early on and his ranch now boasts a wide variety of exotic animals, from crocodiles and snakes to emus and kinkajous. Two years ago, Blake started a YouTube channel named after his business that has since achieved over 700k subscribers. Blake told Beastly: "The reason why I started the YouTube channel is to show the world all about the different animals and show people how important animals are for our world." Blake has also brought his passion for exotic animals to his travels and his YouTube channel showcases his most exciting animal encounters in the wild. In 2018, Blake's ranch was struck by tragedy - a thunderstorm caused the building that housed his turtles and fish to catch fire - none survived. But thanks to a crowdfunding campaign, the structure is currently being rebuilt and is already looking bigger and better than ever. Blake said: "My job involves being with animals every single day and it's not even a job, it's a passion."
